As I was working on this piece which started as a demo I was struggling to create a more meaningful concept. My concerns for the preservation of national parks and wilderness in general continue to be major influences in my art. Thus I have placed a black spectral tree outline over the basic landscape layer. For me it feels threatening but does not obscure the lushness of the underlying landscape. I believe it may be finished but it will remain on my design wall for a few more days until I’m sure.
